with various families and the Girl Guide Movement going door to door for collections at various times when it was more acceptable to make sure people in the community were OK ... before although it is probably the area change and stigma in my recent experiences
all round ... seeing your milestone birthday in with a good mug of tea while being a rookie blogger ... waking up to a cardboard back envelope landing through the letterbox on what used to be my lovely mat no more ... on opening it finding out through my morning blur ...I had passed English and Maths exams respectively ....
Daughter
Finally gets the certificate
And knowing our daughter was picking up too her degree certificate after everything she went though all those three years ... highly special moments today ...
A more structured day than of late ... and getting out at anytime ... that now suits ... up close and personal with life and my love of nature ... that had so slipped by in lost moments ... now more than making up for it ...
I seemed to be the only one out of my family getting on with the move from a Grade II listed cottage back to the local town ... even though one of the reasons I adapted from my Cornish roots was settling in the early years of my own family life in a country setting in the North of Kent ...
But then I was the only one used to moving around a tad and it was the very first move for our daughter so naturally perturbing at the time ....
The benefits of our new home was ... we were not that far from the village so easy to re-visit and still near the local network of roads and the new benefits of being near the railway station as not far from the centre of London ... which is a real beauty to me as although a country girl at heart ... I did live and work in Central London for two years in my early twenties .... and it is good to get back in the area from time to time ...
Our daughter loved this photo ... they are naturally fascinated with my recovery and have seen a major progression since November and Christmas through to Graduation ... that is thanks to a special few who have come and gone in that time ... plus the special time with my late Dad just before then too .... about my future recovery and using my artistic skills in a vocation in this new bittersweet exhilarating time that now faces me .... which naturally as a parent always supported me in my life ...
Not exactly special ... having more than a few paddles at home ... but to me is quite funny ... might as well a get sandpit ... then I'd be at home ... but getting to feel the sea ... after too long ...
A very special day this year ... we had just climbed to the top of Brea Hill at Daymer Bay in Kernow. We felt at the top of the world and the stunning views over and out all around from up there of the Atlantic Ocean, the River Camel Estuary and its trail, Padstow, Rock and St Enodoc ... Outstanding Moments of recovery
